Tiny Tears one of the most popular dolls ever, was made by the American Character Doll Co. for many years. The early ones were on a heavy rubber body in the early 1950's but by the middle fifties they changed to a vinyl body like this one. The rubber ones did not hold up well which is why when you find one in good condition they are more expensive today. This 15" Tiny has medium brown rooted hair which is nice and thick and curly. She has light pink blushed cheeks, some scratching on her left eyelid which only shows when she is laying down and her eyes close, nice blue eyes and red lips. There is a slight scuff by her right ear and some lines on her vinyl right arm. She is wearing her original Tiny Tears romper. There are no odors. And best of all her body still cries when she is squeezed.
