Another collectible doll from Nancy's Dolls and Antiques
Betsy Wetsy became popular in the 1950's, made by the Ideal Doll Co. to compete with the Tiny Tears doll of the American Character Doll Co. This one is 16" tall with a vinyl body and hard plastic head. Her painted hair is very nice. She has beautiful pink cheek color, is missing some eyelashes, has blue sleep eyes that work fine. Her vinyl body is free of stains, 2 little nips on the left hand very small. Her lips are also original red. She is wearing her original white dress with lace and embroidery trim known to this company, white cotton panties and undershirt, and white rubber side button shoes and white socks. Finally her cute ruffled bonnet completes her outfit. There are no stains or repairs and no odors.
