Skookums / Indian Dolls
  Skookum Squaw This is an early little Skookum squaw that is 7" tall. She has the composition face and wooden stick legs. On her foot is the Skookum paper label. She is complete with her beads, headband and feather. Her wool blanket and her cotton dress are in very good condition with no holes, stains or tears. Both feet are complete. The hair, face and eyes are very good also. Papooses are separate. The price is $195.00. |
 Papooses In Original Carrier These littte babies include a 2 3/4" boy wearing a headress and a 2 1/4" girl with braids. They are all bisque and are stiff with no joints. There is some paint missing in places a little on their faces. They come in their original soft leather carrier. I don't know for sure if they ever came with a Skookum so I am selling them separately. Their price is $55.00 |
This German bisque doll is called a scowling type because of the frown on her face. She is 8 1/2" tall and is in excellant condition. Her bisque head is marked on the back 8/0. Her hair and face are excellant as is her hair.She has composition arms, legs and body and jointed neck, arms and legs. She wears a felt dress and mocassins. Around her neck is a clear beaded necklace and a braided strap with a woven pouch at the end of it. There is a leatherette belt around her waist. She also has 4 tiny white teeth. This Skookum is one of the early ones with the wooden legs and composition head. She is also tall, 11 1/2" and has a papoose. Both the squaw and the papoose are in very good condition. Their clothes and blankets are bright and without holes, stains or odors. The hair is very good and so are her mocassins. There is no paper label. She has her beads around her neck.  7 1/2" Squaw This one is a 7 1/2" squaw. She is in very good condition. She has the composition head and wooden legs. Her wool blanket and cotton dress are free of moth holes or stains. The hair is also very good. She has her headband and feather and she also is wearing little wooden beads. Her price is $175.00 |
