Bonnie Bride
This bride doll comes from the Deluxe Reading Co. and is from 1964, and is 21" tall. She is quite different because she has a roller mechanism that propels her forward like she is walking. And it uses no batteries to do this. It has a stand that holds her upright and attaches to a wheeled platform that has a lever you set and pull to engage it. She also is supposed to throw her bouquet but that does not work. She has a vinyl head and a hard plastic body, both in very good condition, and a pretty face with very good cheek color. Her sleep eyes have all their eyelashes. The wedding gown is satin with appliqued rosettes on it and includes a hoop skirt underneath it. There are some brown staining on the back (from the cardboard). She also has her panties, heels, veil and bouquet which fits into a hole in her right hand. She comes in her original box too which is in good condition, tape on end.
Her price is $125.00.
