Boudoir Doll,1920's, Silk Face Redhead

This 26" boudoir doll is so beautiful with her flaming red hair flowing out from under her green bonnet. She has a silk face with a little puckering at her nose, but this is diminished by her overall beauty. She has real eyelashes, a few missing,and very pink blushed cheeks that highlight her provocative eyes. She has composition hands with detailed fingers,missing one thumb tip, and she has a cloth body with no stains or odors. She is wearing a green satin jacket with tiny brass buttons down the front. It is a peplum styled jacket that is longer in the back and has deep ruffled sleeves. Her skirt is pink satin with some fragile areas in the folds. Under the skirt is a slip and muslin pantaloons with tiny pleated details. She also has black satin slippers. She is from the 1920's and has so much more character than most boudoir dolls do. She would be a great addition to your boudoir doll collection.

This doll is called a boudoir doll and is from the 1920's or so. She is 29" tall. She has a very pretty compo face that has some light lines on it but no cracks. Her face has high cheek coloring and lovely eye shadow shading her eyes. She has nice black wavy hair which is very striking with her face color. Her compo extends past her neck down to a breast plate, showing off her long neck. She has a pink cloth body that is very nice with no stains or odors. She wears a pretty hot pink outfit that consists of a high waisted skirt that goes under her bustline, and a shoulder length matching cape that goes to the skirt top. 29" Composition head in Tafetta Dress

This dramatic boudoir doll is 29" long and has a composition head and silk body, arms and legs. She has an unusual black mohair wig, you seldom find these with black hair. She is in very good condition. Her taffeta dress while newer than she, is a very nice style and picks up the blue in her eye shadow and is very long and full. She kind of looks very snooty in it and looks ready for a dance

28" Silk Face Boudoir Doll

This boudoir doll is from the 1920's and has a beautiful silk face with dramatic eyes and pretty pink cheeks. She also has black silk hair that is braided into a bun at each ear and has a single braid going around the back of her head. She is wearing a green silk gown that is very fragile and is coming apart. Its fancy braided rosebud trimmed ruffles are still in very good condition though and could be used to re-make a new skirt. She is also wearing nice black high heeled shoes all original. The doll itself is in very good condition with no odors or damage.

Boudoir Doll Composition Bride

This is a lovely example of the composition boudoir dolls of the 1930's-1940's.

Her face is sweet yet provacative. She has the highly painted eyes with eyeshadow and long attached eyelashes. Her blonde mohair wig is striking against her facial coloring.

The composition on her face is very good, her arms have crazing. She is 24" long and is wearing a white taffeta gown with lace trim and flowers in her hair.

Boudoir Doll in green satin & fur

This fabulous lady is a composition boudoir doll from the 1930's-1940's. She has an elegant look about her as she wears her dark green outfit with hat trimmed in fur with its matching fur stole. Her composition is in very good condition. She has the highly accentuated eyes with dark eye shadow and lashes. Her dark auburn mohair wig looks beautiful with the green in her outfit.

This boudoir doll is from the 1920's and is 29" long. She has a composition head and hands. There is a little chipping on her arms and a small chip on her nose. But she has beautiful silver, platinum silk hair which is drawn back into a braided bun. She has a graceful, very serene face which is so different from the more flamboyant look that these dolls usually have. Her lavender, irredescent taffeta dress has large scallops across the bottom with brown old lace trim which also adorn the double layer ruffled sleeves and shawl collar on the dress. There is a small stain on one leg about the knee and also on the dress which is to the right side and is behind her when she sits. She has a pink satin body and legs. She is matronly beautiful!!

These silk faced dolls are becoming very rare and hard to find especially in good condition since they did not hold up well. She is wearing a pink and creamy yellow, multi layered taffeta dress. She has a beautiful painted face with great expressive eyes and red lips. She also has a fragile fabric label dated 1929.
